The hotel is located in a unique and tranquil area which offers a different experience than a typical city stay. We received a warm welcome from the new and friendly staff who were always eager to help. the breakfast was wonderful with a variety of dishes to choose from and served in a cozy environment. We were pleasantly surprised by the new updates in the main building including the modern decor and the cleanliness maintained throughout.
we would have appreciated a wider selection of amenities and activities to engage in during our visit.

The Hotel is right next to the Mata Stables where horse and cart trips can be taken round the Hortobagy National Park to see the animals, birds and horsemen. For 2,500HUF per person this was excellent value. I also went horse riding in the National Park with a guide for 4,200 HUF per hour which was a great way to see the putsza up close. The Hotels' swimming pool and surrounding area were also a highlight.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was sprawling and covered a large area, providing a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere. The hotel had a big swimming pool, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a swim. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the hotel facilities were impressive. The staff was friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay.
Could not be improved in any way.

The hotel is located in the heart of a natural park, offering a peaceful and beautiful surrounding. the hotel offers villas with spacious living and dining areas, complete kitchens, and terraces to enjoy meals or relax. Guests can rent bikes and explore nearby routes. the hotel also provides access to a pulzta, where visitors can experience a carriage ride and observe local fauna. the staff, though language may be a barrier, are friendly and accommodating.
The hotel is in need of renovation in certain areas.

The location was perfect for us, since we wanted to explore the national park of Hortobagy and Debrecen. We like the spaciousness of the room, and the availability of the swimming pool.
Although the building was beautiful, the room itself was not in the best of shape; the furniture was damaged and in need of replacement, the bed was not very comfortable, the pillows were flat, and virtually no clothes hanger were available. Also, there was a special rate with dinner included for guests staying more than 2 nights. We enquired about it, but were denied on the basis that our booking was with Booked.net, and not the hotel itself. We understood, but would have liked management to be more flexible, considering that we were there for 3 nights, and that the hotel was almost empty.

Great for family trips! Fantastic location on the plains with lots of activities for kids. We stayed in one of the cute cottages which had a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely terrace with a backyard. The pool was huge and the puszta program was awesome. Staff were friendly and English-speaking.
The gardens weren't well-maintained and could use some TLC. The restaurant in the hotel was a bit pricey, so we opted for a local Czarda restaurant instead, which had amazing traditional Hungarian food at a reasonable price.

Hotel staff very nice and helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The location, of course, is perfect for Hortobagy National Park, which is a very lovely place.
No airconditioner and the rooms are a bit run down... not really a problem, but we had two frogs in our room.

It's really the only place to stay comfortably out in the middle of the Puszta in Hortobagy. The pool is nice, the food pretty good. Watch out if you order the 'Pigman's Favorite', it's a very large dish, more like for 4 or 5, not 2.
It's seen better days, although they're trying. Do not stay in the cottages, they need some work and the beds were absolutely the worst I've ever slept in, although there's plenty of space and they're attractive...from the outside.

The staff were incredibly friendly and provided top-notch service, ensuring that all our needs were met. The room amenities were excellent, including a television and telephone for our convenience. The dining restaurant and bar/lounge area were also great, offering delicious food and drinks. the comfort and quality of this place were truly outstanding.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to our family and friends.

Location
It badly needs cleaning up and refurbishment. It is a pity such a nice structure isn't taken care of.

Very nice location covering a large area. Nice peaceful atmosphere and big swimming pool.
Sometimes this has been a good hotel, now not any more 4-star... Needs quite much basic renovation. We left at 6 am for bird safari and got a breakfast-pack - just water, an apple and huge pile of white bread (take your own food for the earlt trip and come back before 10 am to eat the breakfast). Quite clearly over-priced.
